This work connects IT with automation engineering. Real-time remote control, data acquisition and monitoring via the internet or WAP become essential in process automation. This book presents research and development of the water process control in the automation laboratory of Technobothnia. The proposed solution can be also applied to control other system variables as needed. Real-time remote monitoring and control via internet and GSM network are also introduced. These technologies enable operators to interact with an entire operation of their production processes worldwide. A big step towards conceptive e-Automation has been carried out in this work. The e-Automation is hopefully defined as managing process online.
