The books in the Spelling ' Word-Power Series cover 3 levels of practice, arranged from Starters (which introduces the structure of words, sounds and rules), Level 1 (expands knowledge of phonics and increases the level of structuring of words and rules which guide them), Level 2 and Level 3 (provides more challenges in exercises and rules that provides a structure within which the child is equipped with more advanced tools to learn, understand and spell at more advanced levels).  Each level introduces spelling concepts, with explanation to help establish the rules which guide the approach to spelling techniques at each grade.  Rules are identified and practice is given in exercises that test understanding.  Practice exercises for you to complete, test your understanding of the rules applied.
