The story of Art Tyson, the first and only African-American to be inducted into The National Horseshoe Pitchers Association Hall Of Fame. Art Tyson from New Haven, Ct won the Connecticut State Title, 13 New York State Titles and placed in the top 10 in the Men's Championship Class 19 times, placed in the top 5 eight times and came in second 3 times in the world in horseshoes. His career certainly deserves Hall Of Fame Status and he has earned his place, well deserved in the history books. This is a story of dedication and diligence, persistence and perseverance.
