Kimbra returns to work, where they are researching an experimental drug enhancing paranormal abilities. One of the test subjects she is working with has solved murders and Kimbra seeks her help. With nowhere to hide, Kimbra gets a gun, and moves to Colorado where she rekindles a romance with an old high school lover. She has left her troubles behind until one day the stalker finds her.
