Audrina has just found her mate, but there's a problem, he doesn't want her. She isn't his type and doesn't want to have a mate that looks like her.

He believes her also to be weak as her family has always referred to her as the 'runt'. The moment he rejects her it is not only in front of her family, his and his friends but is also in front of the girl he would rather be with. Feeling as though nobody wants her around, she runs away. Her head filled with pain from rejection from both her mate and family, she feels there is no hope for her.
