Seawright, brings to light the taboo subject of what happens when someone suffers a severe traumatic brain injury taking her ability to talk, her memory, and ability to control emotions leaving someone who’s personality is no longer recognizable.   Being placed in a residential treatment facility, Charlie wakes up one day 2 ½ years post injury realizing she is in a place she doesn’t know with strangers among her beginning to remember her former life, terrified and unable to express her thoughts.
