This novel is a sequel to 'A Twentieth Century Love Story.' After Dana died, Armi and Satu moved in with Marius, and he resumed his love relationship with Armi. They had a child, but he died ten days after birth. Armi thought Dana cursed her, or the house was cursed, and that was why their child died. She left Marius, but allowed Satu to stay with him.
