Grief visits each of us in different ways, but to most widows and widowers the journey is long and agonizing. I know because on August 8, 2020, my beloved husband of 44 years, Jim, took his last breath after a long battle with cancer, diabetes, and congestive heart failure. 11 years earlier, we had lost our beautiful son, Eric, to suicide. Now I had to grieve for both, alone.
