When a body is found at the bottom of the latest attack on poultry in Scotland, Macleod finds himself treading through the hen house muck in order to crack open the most scrambled case of his career. Warring factions are absorbed in a melee stirred up by animal rights factions, leaving Macleod with more suspects than feathers.
