Jill Quint, MD, is a forensic pathologist who along with a group of friends, solve murder mysteries. She has been providing second opinions about the cause of death of a loved one for nearly five years. Both she and her friends have full-time day jobs. Jill has a vineyard she has been nurturing to this year’s first vintage of Muscato wine. They take on about a case a month.

This is the story of the death of Graeme St. Louis, a young attorney living in a wealthy suburb near San Francisco who has died from necrotizing fasciitis (better known as gangrene).
