This book focuses on resistance to change in the IT consulting process of implementing standard software. It is an investigation into the organisational behaviour aspects with an economical view on the work life of a finance specialist such as a controller, and regarding the consulting process, an IT consultant who is dealing with culture, motivation, change, and other soft factors of every day life without being aware of doing so most of the time. Such specialists behave according to experience and intuition but it is rarely a consciously experienced process with names or facts and figures to measure, visualise or quantify.
