Jenny and her friend, Mandy, decided to start a club for girls who are not living with their mothers. They came up with five more girls in their class who fit the criteria for one reason or another. Calvin, who was Jenny's next-door neighbor, lived with his mother, so he was voted in to be an honorary member. Shortly after the club was started, Molly, one of the members, was kidnapped.
