Horned Jack is a Nephilim, one of those who takes the daughters of men for their wives.  He watches, and he waits, and he takes.  Although he may be thought of as a “watcher in the woods,” he lives hidden among us, a deceiver with a plan.  To carry it out, he needs practice.  This is the story of his early years, and of those rehearsals.
