Voice From the Wilderness - Lane Anold

Anold Lane describes his experience: The book you hold in your hand chronicles the messages I received from the Voice throughout the summers of 1987-1988, during that hike and subsequent treks in the Sierra Nevada wilderness areas and National Park backcountry of California, includ-ing the High Sierra trail and segments of the Pacific Crest Trail. Although the last message was received more than twenty years ago, the content remains remarkably current, especially that of Chapters 10 and 11. As I read these chapters today, they sound as if they have just been dictated. The subjects of the messages are wide-ranging, as you will see; however, these two chapters ad-dress the toxic condition of our planet and the dysfunction of our so-called civilization in an amazingly current way, and they give us instructions as to what we can do to ensure our survival as a species and the survival of the planet as we know it.
