Scorned, but Not Broken is a collection of stories, poems and prayers that were documented during one woman’s journey to escape abusive relationships, and her quest for healing, redemption and freedom. In this memoir, Mrs. Tonya Ward-Blackshear shares personal stories of how she encountered tragedies that are all too common among women—  sexual abuse, physical abuse and verbal abuse. After suffering through these situations on multiple occasions, she felt like her life was completely broken and shattered. During such horrible events, she ran to the only one who could give her the gift of healing, peace and a new life.
