About the Author:
Laurie Homan grew up in Long Branch, New Jersey, and currently resides in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It is her hope that other survivors of sexual abuse and/or incest learn that complete healing is possible. After many years working with wonderful therapists and discovering Nichiren Buddhism ( www.SGI-USA.org), Ms. Homan has found the strength and tenacity to believe there is a beacon of light after experiencing the darkness of abuse. She is completing the second book of The Journey Within series.
