When MMO gamer Lansius woke up in a fantasy world, his greatest concerns were learning the language and keeping a thatch roof over his head. Then he joined the army as a lowly soldier right as the thousand-year third Imperium rule was crumbling. Little did he know he would end up leading his own troops into battle.
Now the guild representatives are meeting, and Lord Lansius must both negotiate trade deals with nomadic tribes to bring prosperity to Korelia and prepare to fight to repel the western lords. He is joined by his beloved Audrey, Lady Hannei, who only he knows is also a traveler from another world, as well as Felis, who is soon to be married into the nobility.
When news arrives that the emperor has died, war is inevitable. And though he has found himself a warlord, Lansius has no wish to wage war on all of Lowlandia. With thousands of soldiers depending on him for food and shelter, and violence and chaos on the rise, can Lansius bridge the divide between east and west and bring peace and unity to the province?
