A Christmas Carol - Jay Dubya

A Christmas Carol - Jay Dubya

AutorzyJay Dubya

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) spent most of his life in London and hadn't the foggiest notion why the hell he had ever done so. Dickens had a horrible childhood. His father had financial debts, so the government gave young Charles "the dick ends" by making his father live in poorhouses and workhouses, but fortunately not inside any government whorehouses. Dickens' terrible exposure to poverty later made him a literary crusader advocating for social justice. Such novels as David Copperfield and Oliver Twist reflect Charles Dickens's tremendous empathy for impoverished urban British children, along with their exploitation by the unsympathetic, apathetic adult industrial world.

Later in life, Dickens edited a magazine; was an amateur thespian, but the writer was not known to frequently associate with professional lesbians. The quite distinguished author gave many readings of his works throughout Europe, and even did so while touring slums in the United States. The British literary giant was a contemporary of the great Mark Twain, and the two eminent men did meet, although Dickens was much older during the height of their fames.

Some of Charles Dickens' famous novels and books are A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, and The Pickwick Papers. One of his most popular short fiction works had first been published in 1843 and was titled "A Christmas Carol", which featured a great character transformation in the personality of Ebenezer Scrooge from an old curmudgeon to a kind and loving benefactor. The story had been written in four sections known as "Staves", and here is a parody re-write of "A Christmas Carol."

A Christmas Carol is Jay Dubya's 69th published book. Besides Adult Satire, the prolific author writes in seven other separate genres being: Action/Adventure Novels, Non-Fiction Books, Mythology, Science-Fiction, Detective Stories, Paranormal Short Stories, and Young Adult Fantasy Novels.
