Tatum

Tatum Echeverria has done All The Things.

She graduated college early. She obtained her law degree early. She owns her own home, buys her own condoms, and blazes her own trail. Tatum does what-and who-she wants, when she wants. She is dependent on no one. Except maybe for her faithful dog, Janet.

But all her accomplishments and independence haven't translated into happiness the way Tatum thought they would. Instead of feeling satisfied, something is missing. Instead of being fulfilled, she is disappointed. Disappointed in her career, disappointed in the general state of the world, disappointed in men.

Jake Lundquist has done...some of The Things. 

After all, he just graduated college and has big plans for his future. Plans that don't involve stepping into the shoes of his wealthy, distant father. Plans that don't involve anything having to do with his family's commercial development business. Plans that, up until recently, didn't involve getting to know the long-lost sister he never knew he had. And plans that definitely don't involve a curvy brunette who seems to have her whole life figured out.

Just what Jake's plans are, however, remain a mystery. Especially to him.
