The optimal treatment for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma is resection. In addition notable improvement in survival is seen after resection of isolated liver metastasis especially in patients with colorectal carcinoma. The aim of this book is to evaluate the role of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization with or without radiofrequency ablation in the management of patients with hepatic malignancy. This combined therapy is worth further study as control of large hepatocellular carcinoma is still a challenging problem, and to assess the long-term clinical efficacy.
