For nearly four decades Mark Spencer has balanced his career as a dental surgeon with his passions for ocean exploration and underwater photography. His photographs – sometimes of rarely seen shipwrecks hidden in the deep – have been featured in publications such as National Geographic and Australian Geographic. 

A scientist at heart, Mark has long held a curiosity about the deeper levels of conscious awareness he experiences in meditation and how these experiences appeared to correlate with his ocean diving.
