Many are possessed or oppressed by the devil and his demons without knowing why they are behaving the way they do. Spiritual warfare is real, dangerous and is on the increase, and ignorance is no excuse for us to fall prey to Satan's deceptive and destructive practices. "Satan has come to steel, kill and destroy". (St. John 10/10 ) He and his demons have found many ways to gain entrances into our lives and that of our children, our homes, and yes, our nation. Offering things to idols provides gateways to the Kingdom of Darkness. Shedding the blood of an animal on a construction site is a typical example of offering things to idols as we seek to appease evil spirits. Those who know God must, however, seek to expose the powers of darkness. The church must play a vital role in exposing the Kingdom of Darkness and equipping the saints to overcome the power of darkness. This is the hallmark of this book, 'to expose and to equip'. Even non-Christians, in reading this book, will be able to guide their own families in a way that will help to preserve their loved ones. You will see that evil spirits have no sense of fairness. They never hesitate to take full advantage of times of weaknesses in a person's life. Of course, most persons are more vulnerable during childhood. A child is completely dependent upon others for protection. Without question the majority of demons encountered through history have entered the persons during childhood. Parents need to seek help from those who understand how to protect their children as well as how to deliver their children from demon oppression. All parents need to know God for themselves so that they can be truly equipped to be most responsible. As an unborn child (in the womb) can be filled with the Holy Ghost, even so can that child be possessed by demons or affected in some ways by them. We have an awesome responsible under God to ensure that our children are not prevented from coming to God. The Bible clearly states
