Growing up as a young black male in a small fishing community in Southport, North Carolina, I have had an opportunity to see and learn from all types of situations that life has to offer. Being the youngest of eight, I've had a number of experiences—some good and some bad—that are etched in my brain by simply listening and watching my siblings as they have navigated through life.
These experiences, along with my own trials and tribulations during my life's journey from both personal and business-related, has left me with vast insight into what it takes to be successful in this great country we live in, no matter where you grew up or what obstacles you face. I firmly believe that if you have faith (God), if you have a dream, and if you are driven, then anything you want to accomplish is possible.
Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. (Exod. 20:12, NIV)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself. (Matt. 22-37, KJV)
Base your life on these two commandments above, and you are well on your way to being successful at whatever you so choose!
