Bibliometric Analysis of Publications - Chong Francy

This dissertation is a bibliometric study of the publications of the academic staff of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) at the National University of Singapore. Nine parameters were studied, namely, the growth literature, the average number of authors per paper, the extent of collaboration, the prolific authors, the journals in which the articles were published, the impact factor of journals, the number of citations received, and The countries with which international collaboration were conducted. The study covers a window period of five years, from 2001 to 2005th A total of 1128 papers were published in a total of 323 different journals in the five year period.
