The Christmas Adventures of Snowie, the Magical Rescue Dog - Willis Maggie

Life in Alaska is difficult for Anna and her mum. The snow falls almost all the time, and there's never enough firewood to keep them warm all through the night... On one of Anna's daily trips to the forest to find wood, she ends up in terrible trouble, falling down a deep hole until she's buried right up to her neck! As the sky turns purpley-pink, night draws in, it becomes colder and the snow continues to fall, but nobody can hear Anna's cries for help... Nobody, that is, except the strange little man peeping out from behind a tree. With hair as white as the snow, a long beard, and cheeks as rosy as cherries, he reminds Anna of somebody... But who's this? A big, black, wet nose nudges Anna and paws the size of fir trees begin to dig the snow. It must be Snowie, the Magical Rescue Dog, come to save the day!
