The word "chew" denotes that we must meditate on and internalize God's Word; "do" implies that we must do what the Word of God says. Can you imagine the magnitude of our spiritual growth if we were to develop the eight habits mentioned in this book? Each habit is built day by day, week by week, and month by month. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can be built into healthier Christians.
