The ladies are at it again. Cousins Beth Fox and Jo Shannon are minding their own p's and q's when they are stitched up for the murder of a local businesswoman. Fourth of July is right around the corner. Jo decides she wants to sew a colorful jumper for her new grandson who will be visiting. She persuades her cousin and best friend Beth to join her in a search for material. What starts out to be a relaxing shopping trip quickly turns stressful when the owner begins making wise cracks about Beth's sewing skills. Jo watches nervously when banter becomes ugly.
