Why Evolve? What is motivating evolution? The search for answers to these questions has taken the author to unexpected areas. In the journey of living forms from a single celled organism to multicelled and further to mammals, the motivation, for evolving, was to make the process of giving rise to the next generation less and less painful. He has shockingly found that all that we celebrate as cultural wealth and other unique facets of human nature becomes rather unmistakable and more intuitive, when viewed in an entirely different light, i.e., as factors for motivating evolution.
