How does a person define a "decent living"? This anthology is a collection of responses to the question, "What is a 'decent living'?" Poets, writers, and artists from across Los Ángeles have responded with their unique interpretations of the question, and without a doubt, most of us are advocating for a new social contract, one that treats all people with respect and dignity, one that ensures that we all have access to shelter, healthcare, quality food, clean water, and a living wage. All of these things are attainable with consistent advocacy and collective action. The world does not have to be an unjust place.
